Great Air Taxi Update

Flight International has posted one of the most comprehensive articles yet on the current state of air taxis in the US. Written by Murdo Morrison and entitled "Turbulent Take-off for Taxis," you can find a great discussion of DayJet's ultimate challenges and the current operations and future plans of several successful operators including Imagine Air, SATSAir, BlueSky, and Linear Air. The article recognizes the utility of the SR-22 as a cost efficient air taxi platform which I have stated all along, but discusses other airframes including the Eclipses being utilized by Linear Air. There's also discussion of new entrants on the horizon such as Miwok and hopefuls Pogo and YourJet. It's a good read.
